Consultation appointments are intentionally limited so every client receives the time, attention, and honesty she deserves.
What happens during your consultation
During your consultation, we'll discuss your goals, review any previous work, and talk through what's realistically achievable for your skin, features, and long-term results.
You'll have plenty of time to ask questions and receive clear, honest guidance. Never pressure.
If permanent makeup is the right fit, you'll leave with a personalized plan and a clear understanding of what comes next.
If it isn't, you'll receive that same level of honesty.

A Few Questions Before You Reserve
I'm still comparing a few studios. Is that okay?
Absolutely. In fact, many guests do.
Choosing permanent makeup isn't a decision to rush. The consultation gives you an opportunity to ask questions, meet your artist, and decide whether Union feels like the right fit for you.
Will I know if I'm a good candidate?
Yes. If permanent makeup is the right fit, you'll know why. If it isn't, you'll know that too.
By the end of your consultation, you'll have an honest assessment of your candidacy based on your skin, existing permanent makeup (if any), lifestyle, and long-term goals.
What if I've had permanent makeup done before?
That's very common.
We'll evaluate your existing work and discuss what's realistically possible. Depending on your current brows or lips, that may mean moving forward, waiting, or recommending laser softening before creating something new.
Do you work with mature skin or deeper skin tones?
Yes. Clients in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond, and a wide range of skin tones, are a regular and welcome part of our work. Every plan is customized specifically to your skin.
Can I have my consultation and treatment on the same day?
Yes, Sometimes.
If you're a good candidate and time allows, we're often able to accommodate both during the same visit. If not, we'll reserve the next available appointment that works for you.
How long does the consultation take?
Most consultations last about 30–45 minutes. That's usually enough time to discuss your goals, review any previous work, and answer your questions without feeling rushed.
Do I need to prepare for my consultation?
No special preparation is required.
If you have inspiration photos or questions you've been collecting, feel free to bring them. If you've had previous permanent makeup, simply come as you are.
Is the consultation really complimentary?
Yes. Your consultation is complimentary.
To reserve your appointment, a credit card is kept on file. In the event of a same-day cancellation or no-show, a $50 cancellation fee applies.

Union Beauty Lab is located in Las Colinas in North Irving, Texas, just minutes from Dallas, Highland Park, University Park, Plano, Southlake, Frisco, and surrounding DFW communities.
