COVID 19 in 2020
Replublished from March 17, 2020
Your health is of the utmost importance to us. Especially in light of all that’s happening around us.
Know this. We’ve always maintained the highest standards of cleanliness and used hospital-grade disinfectants here at Union Beauty Lab to guarantee the best sanitary environment for you, our guest.
To ensure the containment and eradication of COVID-19, we will continue to keep ourselves, our loved ones, and our community safe by resuming our regular cleaning protocols, while also introducing new procedures based on the recommendations of our governing officials.
Arriving for Your Appointment
Please arrive at your session alone. No friends, partners, or children should attend your appointment.
Call 214-945-0099;1 to alert your artist upon arrival.
Please wait in your vehicle if you arrive early, or before your scheduled appointment. A friendly staff member will greet you. We request that a quick health check screening is completed before your session begins.
For the comfort of your brow artist, you will be asked to wear a mask during your session. Remember, a confident, relaxed artist is a great artist.
Once within the treatment area, you will be provided with a lined bin. Please place all belongings, including cell phones, into the bin and immediately apply the mask provided therein.
Cleaning Protocols
Our salon is exclusive and not located in a highly-populated salon suite. You simply park curbside and walk right up to our door.
There will be limited guests at the time of service, one client per artist, so you won’t be exposed to additional unknowns.
We use medical-grade disinfectant and sterilize with an autoclave. And all common surfaces are being disinfected with medical-grade cleaners hourly.
As a reminder, here is a list of the protocols that we used and will continue to do to keep you and your loved ones safe!
All common surfaces such as doorknobs light switches, pens, etc. are cleaned with medical-grade disinfectant.
Our salon chairs are cleaned from top to bottom with a medical-grade cleaner.
Hand Sanitizer is placed at multiple locations throughout the spa including all walk-in, treatment areas, and bathrooms.
All commonly used hard surfaces throughout the spa are wiped frequently with Hospital grade wipes.
Our team continues to practice frequent handwashing at work and home.
We will continue to wear single-use gloves and masks during treatments as well as disinfectant sprays.
Union Beauty Lab has stocked up on additional disinfectants and supplies.
All of our technicians have had the proper training to prevent the spread of viruses and other illnesses.
We have asked employees to stay at home if they are not feeling well.
Additionally, we are reminding all our guests to reschedule appointments if they are not feeling well or experiencing any symptoms of cold or flu symptoms.
Other Useful Tips
The best way to prevent exposure is to follow these trusted protocols:
Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds frequently with soap and water
A 60% alcohol-based hand sanitizer is an alternative if soap and water are not available.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
Stay home when you are sick
Avoid close contact with people who are sick
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue and dispose of the tissue immediately
