The Sun is a Killer for your Brows & Your Skin!
To prepare for your visit with your Dallas Microblading Artist, please avoid sun and tanning bed exposure for 2 weeks before your procedure.
Also, if you plan on having a sunny holiday, please schedule your trip a minimum of 30 days after the procedure.
Why? Because extreme sun exposure may cause hyperpigmentation as you heal.
Sunbured Skin is a NO GO!
Additionally, If you arrive at your appointment with freshly tanned or a sunburned skin, you‘ll likely risk needing to reschedule, or worse forfeiting your deposit.
Why? Because as your skin regenerates from a sunburn, it’ll take the color with it, causing your brows to fade.
Additionally, sun exposure can hurt, cause excessive bleeding and sensitivity leading to poor healed results. Which leads us to this…
Blood Should be Thicker Than Water!
Your Dallas Microblading Artist, and any skilled artist, will require you to avoid any blood thinners for a minimum of 48 hours before your brow session.
This includes Alcohol, Vitamin E, Aspirin, Niacin, Fish Oil supplements, and Ibuprofen.
Why? Because NSAIDS slow your rate of healing tremendously.
Skip the Cup of Joe!
Please don’t drink any caffeine 48 hours prior to your appointment. This includes decaf coffee, teas, and kombucha.
Why? Because Caffeine makes you restless and can actually lower the effectiveness of your numbing cream. Ouch!
Wait to Schedule your Botox Session.
We know you love looking your best, but please avoid scheduling your Botox session for at least 2 weeks prior to visiting your Dallas Microblading Artist.
Our Browlologists recommend to ideally wait until after your Brow Enhancement Session heals to get Botox
Why? Because a knowledgeable injector will take your new brows into consideration when choosing where to inject.
Clear Skin is Everything, but…
Finally, to prepare for your Microblading Session in Dallas, if you have been on prescription Accutane in the past, please wait at least one full year (12 months minimum) before considering this procedure.
